Get to know me
Hi there! I’m Josie, and I have recently earned my Bachelor’s in Digital Media Video Production from Liberty University. Right now, I’m working as a Media Lab Assistant at the Digital Media Lab, where I get to share my passion for video production and help fellow students navigate different types of equipment.
My journey in film has been incredibly rewarding. I recently interned as a Production Assistant at JL Creative, where I contributed to a feature-length horror film. This experience really pushed me to collaborate effectively with others and handle challenges under pressure. I’ve also worked as a Camp Videographer at Kidder Creek Orchard Camps, where I created weekly videos that captured the excitement of camp life. Those moments taught me how to stay adaptable and committed to storytelling, even in high-stress situations.
My biggest passion and inspiration for videography is skiiing. During my college career, I skiied for Liberty University’s Ski and Snowboard team. I have traveled the country not only competing in many freeski competitions, but also growing my skills as a sports videographer by capturing these trips with my equipment and creating videos.
My dream one day is to create feature films for extreme sports athletes and travel the world working with companies like RedBull and Monster. I’m excited about the adventures that lie ahead and can’t wait to share my journey with you!
